We began working with Fam-ess in the summer of 2020 as we piloted DSACO’s Supplemental Learning Initiative program, now known as Learning Aid Ohio. Fam-ess provided us a platform that affords us the ability to connect learners on IEPs and 504s to qualified tutors to provide supplemental learning opportunities outside of the classroom. The team's communication, efficiency, and genuine interest in what we do has been so supportive and encouraging— especially as the program has grown!

We began working with Michelle in January of 2022 as we piloted our adult literacy program, now known as Adult Literacy Ohio. Michelle provided our amazing program with a platform that affords us the ability to offer literacy tutoring sessions for adults with developmental disabilities in a way that is meaningfully accessible to those we aimed to serve. This is the third year East Liverpool schools have run this program with Fam-ess, which was established under a previous district administrator. While I am new to this district, I immediately saw the value and opted to continue it when taking over as curriculum director. We have been able to supply hundreds of students with grants to utilize tutors within our district for supplemental learning support. Families and students are grateful for the opportunity to take advantage of this program.
